English Club Thierry Togola (ECTT) was created by Oussouby KEITA with the support of Tiehiry Togola who is considered as its Godfather and Oumar Coulibaly (all formerly teachers of English at “Lycée Massa Makan Diabaté”) in December 2008, but became officially known in 2009 with its traditional election of Chair persons (Presidents).

Some other people such as Babacar Touré, Karim Sidibé, Brahima Diarra and Sékou Traoré contributed tremendously in the creation of the club as well.

Objectives

Its main objective is to help English lovers speak it fluently and in a practical way.
Its very first Chairman was Mr Ama TRAORÉ in 2009.
Currently ECTT has branches at Lyçée Massa Makan Diabaté of Baco Djicoroni (LMDB), Lycée Public of Kalaban Koro( LPKRO) and Lycée Mamadou Sarr( LMSARR).

Place of activities

Our English Club held its weekly activities at the Public High School of Kalaban Coro during which we performed several activities.
Our objective is to help people to express themselves in English.

Each of the three Clubs performs the same main activities which are:

• Dialogs;
• Sketch;
• Poetry;
• Board games;
• Hangout trips;
• Other language learning activities.
