Practice makes perfect
English Practice Club “EPC “ is an English club created at the US Embassy in December 26th, 2013 by the young leaders who used to go for reading books at the US Embassy.
The main motives of creating this Club are :
- To promote English language here in Mali ;
- To help Malian students speak, read and write English;
- To help Malian learners build their leadership skills,
- And to contribute to Malian education.
Headquarter
US Embassy was the headquarter till members decided to find ENSup as the ongoing headquarter. From that day, every Saturday, EPC holds its activities at ENSup from 10 am to 1 pm. In the framework of the innovation, the session of the club was then called “Shape my English Activities“. With an interest of the personal development, some training modules are executed for members every year.
Historic
As historic in late 2014 by leadership, Members chose Aissata Ba as Chairwoman. She is the first president of EPC. She led the club for one year (1 term). At the club, the end of a term implies the renewal of the Executive Bureau and anniversary and by the same token brings new leaders to lead our beloved club.
The weekly activities
As far as the “Shape my English Activities” are concerned, it starts from 10 am to 1 pm. The activities during the session are as follows:

EPC – Bureau
By this occasion in December 2014 , Oumar Koné was elected as the chairperson ( 2nd president ) of the club. He did one term too.
Then the club knows Tiemoko Samaké as the third and fourth president, who took care of the club and members. He led the club for two terms from 2016 to 2018.
Moreover, after the terms of Tiemoko Samaké, in 2018 came the time of Mahamadou Traoré. He also took care of the club for two terms from 2018 to 2020. He is known as the fourth person and fifth Chairperson who led the club.
Last but not least, he let the seat (presidency) in 2020 to Bacaina Nientao who is the ongoing chairperson.
