We Are Change Makers
We grew up collaborating together meeting each other every night for self-training about almost all subjects taught in a primary and secondary school as well as extracurricular subjects in order to contribute to the rising of success rate in Malian schools
Likewise, we would chat in English most of the time we meet but not many of us could take advantage of this conversation because they couldn’t neither understand nor speak English although they wanted.
Therefore, noticing that they had the will to learn and speak English proficiently but didn’t know how, so we decided to create a hope, a hope for them and us to practice our English, a hope for the society, a hope for anyone willing to learn English reason why we named our Club Big-Hope-Mali. We chose that name because we hope to be a hope for this country
Membership Condition
To be considered as a member of Big-Hope-Mali or to benefit from its activities you must:
- Be ready to be an active learner and defender of the clubs’ visions wherever you are
- Pay your membership card 1000 CFA
- Pay your monthly fees 500 CFA
The weekly activities
There are numbers of Big Hope weekly activities, among them we have :
- Opening prayer in English for all
- Warm-ups or games
- Participative grammar Lesson
- Conversation or debate in English
- Thought of the day and word of the day
- English videos watching or movie screening in English
- Hadith of the day or life lesson
- Closing prayer in English for all
Objectives
- To promote the English language (reading, listening, speaking and writing)
- To contribute to the education of pupils, students and young professionals in Mali with a stress on English learning
- To contribute to develop social entrepreneurship skills, creative ty, and innovation in Mali
